Our hearts go out to Ellie Cook and her family at the loss of her husband, Jim, this past Friday. Jim had been struggling with cancer for the last few months, especially, and passed away quietly at the Hospice Facility in Gloversville. The funeral service will be at the Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home in Gloversville on Tuesday at 7 pm. Calling hours are from 4 pm to 7 pm that day. The burial service will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery some time on Wednesday, the exact time yet to be scheduled. If anyone wants to attend the Wednesday service, let me know and you can ride over with me in the church van.
